Mike (Red) Reilly is retiring as Plant Supervisor at PEPCO in Washington, DC. He has been in charge of 16 GE frame 5 gas turbines in the capitol city. During the Reagan administration, the power went out in DC while the president was on the elevator in the Whitehouse. The gas turbines were started to provide power so he could be rescued.
