Robert Nardelli, former chief of the GE's Power Systems Division (now known as GE Energy), moved on to Home Depot when former CEO Jack Welch didn't select him for GE's top job. Nardelli recently got fired at Home Depot but walked away with $210 million in his severance package. Screw up and you get fired, but you get rich too!
