The GE training center was first known as the Field Engineering Development Center (FEDC). In the early 1980s, it was changed to the Training & Development Center (T&DC). Later, in the 1990s, it was known as the Power Systems University (sic). University, are you kidding? Now it is known as the Energy Learning Center (ELC)
